Fashion is what you're offered four times a year by designers, style is what you choose to do with it.
There are a number of fashion bloggers out there, blogging about the latest trends and runway offerings. Then there are style bloggers, the ones who have found their niche whether that be the "prep", inclusive of all things J. Crew and Lily Pulitzer; the "thriftier" who thrives on all things vintage; the "rocker" who owns at least three Robert Clearey creepers. Then there is the "Stylist"; someone who understands the trends and puts their own spin on them. Of course, these are all generalizations.
To me, style is something evolutionary, something that changes everyday. What can I say; I'm a millenial. Millenials are unidentifiable - whether by gender, sexual orientation, or style. I can't be put into a box, I can't be defined bysingular term or style. Some days I am feeling like a bossbabe in some sky high pumps and a fitted dress with a blazer. Other days I feel like a true fashionista, pairing the latest trends with some of my favorite vintage pieces. And then there are the days that I feel like wearing streetwear; these are the most nostalgic days for me, but they're also so fun. Today's look is a little different than what has been on the blog as of late, but it's still me, it's still my style.
